Jessica Ennis and Steve Lewis in the Squad for the World Indoor Championships in Doha

World heptathlon Champion, Jessica Ennis, and UK’s leading Pole Vaulter, Steve Lewis have both been named in the Aviva GB and Northern Ireland team to compete at the World Indoors in Doha 12-14 March,
Ennis, will be contesting the pentathlon drawing on the form she showed earlier in the indoor season when she set a new UK 60mH record.
Lewis whose current form indicates he is set to peak at the right point in the season, won the National trials and went on to place 2nd in a meeting in Dessau, Germany where he cleared 5.65m. He is due to compete in Paris on 1st March.
